This year, I started incorporating AI tools (listed on the right) into both my work and personal projects, using them to move faster and explore ideas more efficiently.

As a designer with many ideas but limited coding skills, these tools finally made it possible to turn concepts I once imagined into real products. This project is one example of that process.

Water Your Plants

Project type: personal side project / AI experiment
Status: MVP alive, plants still alive (so far)

I’ve killed a lot of plants.

Not intentionally—but the outcome was the same. Some died because I forgot to water them. Others because I panicked and overwatered them. At some point I realized the problem probably wasn’t the plants. It was me.

So I built Water Your Plants, a simple app that helps people (me) remember when to water their plants before they slowly/quickly decline.

This project is also a small act of redemption for the three plants currently living in my apartment: a Bird of Paradise, a Monstera, and an Avocado tree 🙏

So far, they’re still alive.
